Hi-Visiting from VB.
I love the herbalism features. I would love to know the best way to use these - teas, compresses, etc. Thanks. Very educational and your knitting is lovely.

We have a British friend who makes elderberry wine. I had no idea it was so good for me!;)

Holy cow, so glad I read this post. We have boat loads of this in my pantry. We give our dog a pill every other day to help with her mouth pigment. Stopping by from VB if you get a moment stop by http://athriftydiva.com/

Thank you for commenting! Some of the herbal posts do contain that information, but I will be sure to include it regularly from now on! Positive criticism is always welcome! :)

Oh, yes! I learned about elderberry from my mother. She always made tinctures for our friends and family, when we got sick. It is a POWERFUL flu fighter. If you have a lot, I would recommend making some, just in case. If you're interested, here's a link to help you out with that. It's fairly easy :)
