Knitting update: Christin's Neckwarmer

This is the project I'm currently knitting for my friend, Christin. I've been working on it forever, but she understands that my life has been chaotic lately.
You can find the pattern, for free, on Ravelry here. But I used a rib on the edges instead of seed stitch.
I'm just using Red Heart yarn, acrylic fiber. In the Red Brick color.

I love bows.

I've been wayy into bows lately.

This is also the first fishtail braid I've put in my hair, and I think it looks rather nice.

I have a nice little collection of bows I've made. (Minus the one in my hair, and the two I gave to my aunt.)
I cannot wait to open my etsy shop, which will happen as soon as I open a bank account..

My first skein of yarn!

I finished my first skein! I love it, it's beautiful. I'm going to make a headband for winter with it.

The brown is alpaca, and the pink/red I plied it with is synthetic fiber.

Speaking of spinning, I've not gotten a chance to show off my spinning wheel!
My soon-to-be-aunt forwarded me an email saying that she knew someone who was giving away a loom, I contacted her, came to her house, and she wound up giving me a tabletop loom, a Navajo loom, and spinning wheel.
I looked it up online, turns out, it's a Clemes & Clemes spinning wheel, they started making them in 1970, and if I bought it new today, it would cost $985. What a steal. She just gave it to me. Solid Maple wood. It's so nice.

I LOVE my spinning wheel.

Crocheting update.

Thought I'd post some pictures of the squares I''m making for my granny square purse. They're beautiful.
Here's the pattern: sunburst granny squares

Quilting update.

This was my senior project this last year, but after I switched schools, I didn't have to do it anymore. But I still love it, and plan to finish it when I can.
Here's the front:

And the back:

And a close-up of the back:

I love how it's turned out so far. I just need to figure out how to actually quilt.

Crochet Pattern: Vintage Daisy Motif
I saw this blanket in a background of a picture in A Beautiful Mess. I fell absolutely in love with the pattern, and searched the web until I found it. It wasn't easy.
