Blocking does a lot of good. That is, pin it down in what shape you want it to be. If it's made out of wool, you can spray it with water, or very lightly steam it. I'd out a towel on top of it, and just steam it with an iron.<br />For acrylic fiber, I've come across the same problem, I pinned it, and steamed it a lot, and even used some starch on it, but it didn't seem to work.
